Why A Build a Website Just About What a Official Shokie puppy
is ?
For One reason
alone! To inform potential puppy parent that these 2 breeders
have taken the term Official Shorkie Puppy and Official Shorkie
puppies and are using it to sell there shorkies to the public.
We will not allow any breeder to simply take our 18 years of
dedication to Shorkie puppies and the breed and tell everyone
that an Official Shorkie puppy is Official just because it is
1/2 shih tzu
and half yorkie.
If that
were the case every single breeder breeding shorkies has
Official Shorkie puppies! So are they are saying their shorkie
puppies are the same as every other breeders Shorkie puppies???
We we can
assure you are Official Shorkie Puppies are not just Official shorkie puppies
because they are half shih tzu half yorkie or 2nd or third
generation Shorkies.
Ours are
Official Shorkie puppies because we started the breed 18 years
ago here in the USA and kept documented records of every
breeding and health issue and testing that was done on every
breeding adult family member.
We then took
those 18 years of experience in shorkie breeding and began to
apply it to a registry. We spent thousands of dollars, years of
dedication and energy to finally bring the Shorkie Club Of
America to the forefront of the Dog world. It 20 plus years
takes years of correct breeding and documentation for a
breed to becime recognised as a breed and we are in it for the
ling haul.
For these two
breeders to simply come along and stole the term
Official
Shorkie puppies to sell their dogs and then try and say
What makes them
Official is that they are half shih tzu and half yorkie is very
very sad in my opinion.
The Official Shorkie Club Of America
defines an Official
Shorkie puppy as
Shorkie bred from genetically tested parents that is bred from a
Qualified breeder registered with the Shorkie Club Of America.
An Official Shorkie Comes from a home breeder and not a kennel
setting.Home breeders only. An Official Shorkie has all its
record of lineage and health and is provided to the puppy
parents that adopt it. Each and every breeder that applies to
the Shorkie Club Of America is home inspected by a licened vet
to ensure that they are truky home breeders and not jsut saying
they are! An Official Shorkie puppy is never put up "FOR SALE"
but rather it is put up for adoption and we take great pride in
the entire adoption process of our shorkie puppies. All they require for a shorkie to
an Official Shorkie Puppy is for their puppies is the to be 1/2
Shih tzu and 1/2 Yorkie. That statement is
such an injustice to the Shorkie breed alone and to the shorkie
breeders that really working hard and dedicating themselves to
the ethical development of this breed.
The Shorkie Club Of America is the only group
ever established that is dedicated to the ethical development of
the Shorkie breed? It is free to everyone and any shorkie
breeder can apply! ???
If they wanted to use Official Shorkies all
they had to do was
get all their gentic testing done and send it
in.. have a home inspection by one of our licensed vets(the
shorkie club Of america pays for it) and they could register the
shorkie puppies they are now calling Official.
There is no doubt that they have Shorkie
puppies for sale but why would any breeders take from another
website and use it to promote their dogs. How is that fare to
the unsuspecting puppy parent that has no education about
Shorkie Puppies.
But instead these two ladies
Sherry Carter and
Mileen Coulter
Have just stolen the words to describe
their shorkie puppies and took the short cut! They just call
thier puppies Official Shorkies because they are half shih tzu
and half yorkie
What makes them Official.????
Whether you get a puppy from them or not is
not my business and we recognize that there needs to be high end
pricing
and low end pricing in every aspect
of life. It is the way of life.
We could care less that they
breed shorkies.
We know we are the high end of Shorkies and
make no excuses for it.
But to take something from us that we have
spent 18 years defining and building speaks loudly for the
character of these two... Official Shorkie Puppies was intended
to separate our Shorkies from just
the regular shorkies and 8t very insulting and so confusing for
puppy parents everywhere.
Again. There definition of what an Official
Shorkie is does not meet the definiton of The Shorkie Club Of
America.
So it all boils down to defintions I
suppose and what is important to a puppy parent looking
for a shorkie.
Sherry Carter is stealing from us our
graphics and ideas and slogans and she is the biggest internet
bully there is.
